Press: Michael Laechel from the band, "Apartment 1628" is getting Baptized as an Adult.

IN MY WORDS:

I was baptized as a child in the Roman Catholic Church, and it was the intent of my wonderful parents that I would one day be a follower of Christ. My Baptism as an adult can be viewed as the fulfillment of my parents' wishes as well as mine. It in no way repudiates the Baptism I received as a child.

This is my time as an adult in my Spiritual Journey to re-confirm my giving of my Soul and Love to my God.

The symbolism of Baptism requires a more adult level of cognitive and developmental readiness, the Elders require that children be at least 12 years old to be baptized. Proverbs 20:25 issues a significant caution against the danger of making a vow before adequate knowledge, forethought and reflection have been given.
